I know to all you Tiger and Gamecock fans that may not mean much, but I lived in Georgia for 28 years, longer than I’ve lived anywhere else in my life, and like it or not, I listened to Georgia Bulldogs football on the radio. I watched the game on TV with the sound turned down.
And I listened to Larry Munson on radio.
That’s how Bulldog fans listened to their Georgia games. Hearing Larry Munson on the radio was just as much a part of the game as seeing UGA on the sidelines.
God called Larry Munson home on Nov. 20.
There was only one bigger Georgia Bulldog fan than Lewis Grizzard and that was Larry Munson.
